Nita June is a working performer, musician & teaching artist.In her classes and workshops, Nita will guide you on an adventure into the roots of creative self. Using the tools of somatic movement, imagery, writing, vocal expression and stillness, students find inner strength, balance, inspiration, motivation, and wisdom that belongs to them. Students take away from the class a sense of deep satisfaction, creative curiosity and invigorated imagination.
Currently living in Santa Monica, Nita June has taught acting, movement, music, and voice in New York, Colorado and California to creatives of all kinds, ages and abilities. She holds an MFA in Contemporary Performance from Naropa University, and a BA in Theater Magna Cum Laude from Barnard College. She has been playing and creating for her "whole life long" and so have you!
